Quirky one bed flat, Barbican area, Plymouth

I loved everything about the property, it looks so much more different than the pictures so much better! It’s a home away from home! And I’ll deffo be back! It’s the perfect get away whether you want to have a quiet chilled time or if you wanna be a foodie and go out loads it’s perfect too! It was just perfect for me and my partner and we didn’t wanna come home!

Literally nothing! I have nothing bad to say.

So lovely, we said we could live there! It’s a fantastic, charming property.

The property had all the amenities you would need and more.

Excellent location, very charming and clean flat right in the middle of shops and restaurants but still quiet and relaxing inside. Very kind and responsive owner as well, can’t recommend enough.

Really great location close to everything we wanted to do. Very quiet considering it is right on the Barbican, hardly any noise at all. Great to have everything provided and the pint of milk was very thoughtful. Already booked again for next year.

Only very minor things, we found the bed a bit soft for us.

The location was fantastic and we were close to shops, restaurants and pubs. It was generally very quiet, except for the early morning seagulls but we expected that being so close to the Barbican and sea - I suggest ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, though :) The flat had everything we needed and the little extras like teabags and milk were very much appreciated. Communication with the host was good and responses were quick.

Unfortunately the shower riser broke whilst we were there, so we had to hold the head whilst showering as it wouldn't stay upright. It had been sellotaped so there must have been an issue with it already, but hopefully this has now been replaced for future guests. The sofa was very uncomfortable as you could feel the wooden frame through the cushions.
