Quirky one bed flat, Barbican area, Plymouth

Lovely little hideaway but still in the heart of the Barbican. Excellent contact with owner and a lovely lady called Rose who made sure everything was OK. Would highly recommend this property will look forward to going back.

We loved staying in this flat. It is very well equipped for a short or long stay. It has a very central location in the Barbican area, but is very quiet. Lots of restaurants, shops & pubs nearby. Sally is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Plymouth is just gorgeous and we wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was perfect; in the heart of old part of Plymouth next to the ocean. The flat is on the main, small road on Barbican only steps away from the ocean, pubs and restaurants and quirky shops, but at the same time tucked in behind metal gate sheltering and protecting from the noise. Local co-op or Morrison on the door step and 6 minutes walking distance to the city centre. The flat was clean and welcoming, bed comfortable. I feel I should mention that the sofa in the living room was very low. It probably would not bother most people but my sister was after recent hip replacement so she found this sofa too low to sit on. Nevertheless, there were comfy chairs next to the table and bed to rest and read the book. The flat is on first floor, so it is worth to consider if somebody has mobility difficulties, but my sister managed the stairs well. Very good communication with Sally, the Host. 5* Very easy access to the flat on arrival. Altogether we have enjoyed staying in this quirky flat. Highly recommended!

There was nothing there I didn't like about the flat. I have mention the stairs and sofa only to make others aware as some people could find this to be a problem. Nevertheless, this did not spoil our lovely time in the flat.

The Location was exceptional with good and easy access to the property and even though it is within close proximity to all the late night bars etc. we were surprised how quiet it was.

I liked everything, the apartment was very clean, everything worked, the place was quiet, hygiene and cleaning products were provided more than enough. absolutely perfect

A perfect self catering apartment in the heart of the Barbican. Sally has decorated the apartment in a tasteful manner that makes it feel like a home away from home. Catch downstairs is an incredible sea food restaurant owned by Lee - You should ask him for his Fried mussels - The best I have ever had.
