We encountered several significant issues during our recent stay that adversely impacted our experience. The accommodation's location within a private residence was unexpected and presented initial difficulties in identification. The room itself was notably compact and excessively adorned with decorative items, rendering the bedside table impractical for personal belongings. While a private bathroom was provided, its accessibility necessitated traversing a public corridor. A critical concern arose regarding the room's locking mechanism, which posed a risk of accidental lockout when accessing the restroom during nighttime hours. Fortunately, we retained the access code, but this arrangement deviated from our expectations at the time of reservation. Parking presented additional challenges. Although space was initially available on the property's driveway, subsequent vehicle placement obstructed our egress, immobilizing our vehicle. As an individual with a disability, accessible parking is a fundamental requirement. While we were informed that suitable parking was available near the building entrance, the narrowness of the driveway significantly impeded vehicle maneuverability. Regarding amenities, cups were provided in the room, but essential accompaniments such as milk were absent. Our attempt to procure these items from the communal kitchen was unsuccessful, preventing the preparation of beverages. We are fortunate that our stay was limited to a single night. On a positive note, the room was clean, and the beds offered a reasonable level of comfort. However, the sheer volume of decorative items, including a large lantern on the windowsill and various trinkets such as plastic champagne glasses and paper petals on the bedside table, substantially reduced available functional space. We simply required a clear surface for personal items, such as a mobile phone.

Felt a bit strange going into a back garden to find a key to an empty house, no breakfast, a b&b without breakfast Used amenities in the bathroom wash kits. Old towels that are long overdue a refresh. Hotels in the area like the Marriott are a similar price. Very bad value for money and strange vibe. Garden was a mess and no signage on the property so we could tell we were in the right location. This would have all been acceptable if it was a lower price.

Firstly, location is good. That’s all I can say is good about it.

We couldn’t stay here and had to find a room somewhere else at short notice. The room we were allocated was dirty, dusty and not acceptable to leave for guests after an apparent clean. There were pubic and normal hairs in and on top of the bed as well as in the shower. They provided guests with slippers which were seen to be previously worn and stained. The TV was full of god knows what and the dust on the back thick. There was a long black hair on the bathroom side. The heater doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in months. I can only share 4 photos, I have about 20 from this property and to think I paid £206.75 for this room is disgusting. After speaking with the owner stating we are unable to stay, it seems they think the clean was to a satisfactory standard and no further action will be taken.
