"Fantastisch!!!!"

Wat een super verblijf! Alles klopte. Idyllisch plekje.

"Superb stay"

We loved the little extra touches such as homemade cakes and breakfast items, the host was lovely and very helpful. The milkshakes made with the farm's milk were very tasty, I think we tried almost every flavour.

Everything was fine.

"Excellent stay in a beautiful spot - comfortable, welcoming, the perfect launchpad for South Downs"

10.0

Delicious breakfast, very friendly and thoughtful host, great location for the South Downs, also well placed for an excellent pub in walking distance - The George at Burpham.

It is situated on a working farm, so there is sometimes a buzz of activity about the place, but this only added to the feel of the place and it did not disturb us at all. Nothing to dislike, overall. Highly recommended.

"Cosy Countryside Escape with Kids"

9.0

We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s lovely farm during the half-term break. From the moment we arrived, Sally was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The accommodation was cosy, spotless, and very comfortable – a perfect little retreat for our family. One of the highlights for the kids was getting to meet the baby cow on the farm – such a special experience they absolutely loved! The boys had a fabulous time exploring and enjoying the fresh countryside air. The location is excellent too – peaceful and rural, yet with very quick and easy access to Arundel, which made day trips super convenient. Overall, a perfect stay for families looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of countryside charm. Thank you, Sally, for your warm hospitality – we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely first class break , specially with children. We took our grandson for half-term break and he loved it and was very exited to stay somewhere so different. Owner Sally was extremely friendly and attentive, place was clean, warm and equipped to high standard, everything you needed and more. Outside area is lovely, comfortable seating, lights and blankets. Unfortunately we had poor weather so couldn't take full advantage of this. Our grandson loved seeing the cows being milked and meeting the calves. There are ducks in the stream, red kites flying overhead and we also had a buzzard visiting us one morning, sitting there right in front of our window. Local pub up the road is exellent too.

If I had to pick one thing to put in Tansy it would be a little step up to the bed. Pull down bed, which is very comfortable, is rather high. Probably ok for most people but if you are in your 70s and just had a hip done not so. I had to borrow a little stool from Ethel which wast ideal as floor was slippery.
