"Highly recommend"

10.0

We had a great break and would highly recommend the Shepherds Huts. They were spotlessly clean and well equipped for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Sally was a great host and always on hand for advice on the local area and to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.

"The most relaxing weekend"

10.0

Had a lovely relaxing 4 days in these beautifully decorated and equipped shepherds huts. Sally has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay just perfect. The beds are super comfortable, with lovely linen and super fluffy towels. The fridge is stocked with fresh milk from the farm, orange juice, butter, freshly baked cakes, everything you need for that much needed cuppa on your arrival. Sally and family have now installed a brilliant milk shed where you can buy ‘raw’ milk, pasteurised milk shakes, with all the milk coming from the farm, ice cream, eggs and freshly baked cakes. Just when you thought this couldn’t get any better it does with this new addition to the farm. We were blessed with amazing weather so the outside seating area is comfortable and relaxing. A bar b q is available for a small charge, a fire pit and outside games. You couldn’t want for more. Nick is more than happy to answer any questions about the herd and the farm and enjoyed seeing the cows being milked. A great experience if you have young children. A lovely walk to the local pub just 10 minutes away, where we enjoyed an excellent meal. Sally was always on hand if we needed anything, and was happy to advise on local attractions and restaurants. Some really lovely local walks, one of which was to Arundel itself along the river.

"Incredible holiday"

10.0

Our holiday was incredible. The hut itself is just beautiful, it's immaculate, compact, had everything you need and more as the host Sally has added lots of extra touches. It's a home from home, we were made to feel very much part of the family.

Everything was amazing, the huts have everything you need! Sally was great and a very attentive host, we had a little tour of the working dairy farm which was very informative. The George Inn just up the road is also excellent. We will definitely be back!!

Nothing - it was all fantastic :)

"Exceptional"

10.0

The freshly cooked croissants and access to the farm / feeding the animals for our children. Sally was a very hospitable host. The outside area was fantastic for children and dogs (secure)- with a lovely seating area for food and sunset watching. Location, excellent - we went to Littlehampton Beach, Worthing, the local pub around the corner, a play area nearby, dog walking around the farm and Amberley museum - all excellent. Perfect for the children.

"Perfect getaway"

10.0

The shepherds huts are on a working dairy farm. Sally met us when we arrived, showed us around, ‘introduced’ us to the calves and told us the milking times so we could go to watch if we wanted to. It was a perfect getaway location and yet still so convenient for exploring Arundel. The pictures reflect exactly what it is like there. The hut was cosy, the breakfast supplied was delicious. Sally offered to book us a table at the local pub, The George, for a meal - we took her up on the offer and had a delicious meal there. We will definitely go back.

"A highly memorable stay which we know will become one of our favourites."

10.0

An authentic stay on a working farm. Amazing owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and show us their livelihood’s. We do many of these kinds of stays, but it was this engagement which sets it leagues above the rest. You will pet cows, sheep, lambs and see an amazing array of wild bird life. Kites, Falcons, Pheasants. The huts are set in a very tranquil setting by a stream with an outlook over fields and agricultural buildings. There are an abundance of walks on your door step which can take you in any beautiful direction. The huts are tastefully styled and kept immaculately. They are also very well stocked, with fresh milk (of course) cereals, freshly made brownies and fresh juices which we didn’t expect and again is unusual for this kind of accomodation, adding that extra special touch which sets it apart. We also received 15% off our meal at the George pub which might have been one of the best sunday roasts we have ever had. A highly memorable stay - we will definitely be booking again.
