We were immediately greeted by the management with complementary drinks. The host was able to book activities for us and recommended places to eat in the area. The language barrier was not an issue. The room was bigger than we expected, with a kitchenette. There was a hair-dryer, WiFi, fans in all the rooms, and AC in the bedroom. There was hot water and the shower worked as expected. The place was spotless. The host even provides flip-flops that are to be returned at the end. There is a big garden to relax and an option to do laundry. Gem's house is located near shops and restaurants that are a walking distance or a 5-minute ride only. The host was kind enough to help us book bus tickets to our next destination, we didn't have to worry about pick up times, everything went smoothly thanks to them. I would definitely book again if I'm around.

The host was so kind and all staff offered us coffee and fresh drinks whenever they saw us. Room was large and bed was comfy.

The owner was very friendly and kind. She let us check in early and check out late, and even offered us a fresh coconut. The housekeeper was also super nice — he gave us raincoats just before we went outside

Glass external door letting in all the light from outside. The Mosquito net had slipped on the window in the bathroom and there was no glass on it.
