Geel Heritage - A Restored Homestay Haveli

I had nice stay at this hotel! The interior is beautifully designed, with charming details that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every corner seems thoughtfully decorated, making it a truly special place to stay. The owners are kind amd welcoming. One of the highlights is the lovely terrace, where you can sit back, enjoy a drink or a meal, and take in the relaxing surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything you need for a pleasant stay. Plus, the hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area.

Overall very good value for money. Great location, within walking distance of Clock Tower. Room very spacious but extremely basic but for the price you can't ask for more. Cleanliness could be improved and maintenance could also be increased a bit.

Super-friendly staff, clean room and bathroom and well located. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable and clean run by people that look after you well, this is your place.

Yeah and his dad, and indeed all their staff are, without exception, wonderful. Our room was magical. You can feel the history of the building; it is palpable. The architecture in both Geel Haveli, and all around you in the narrow winding streets keeps you wide eyed in amazement.

Nothing to do with Geel Haveli, but the rubbish in the streets, everywhere, drags down the ambience of Jodhpur significantly. The local politicians should be ashamed.

Loved the location. Might not be to everyones tastes. Can't reach by car but great fun getting there from clock tower square. Loved the rooms. Brilliantly restored.

Pay by cash if you can. Toilet would not flush but used a bucket and that works well.

We loved our stay at Geels! The property is very well situated as it is close to all the main sights and is a short walk from the clock tower in Jodhpur which is a central location. The staff were amazing and so readily offered to help ensure our stay was comfortable. This ranged from helping with currency issues to booking tours and cooking food out of hours, they went above and beyond multiple times. The food at Geels was the best that we have had throughout our trip to India, with everything being made fresh to order. Additionally, as my partner had a nut allergy the kitchen was incredibly accommodating which really put us at ease. The room was super comfortable, clean and spacious, and the rooftop was amazing. Overall, we had the best time and would thoroughly recommend!

Large comfortable room with large modern bathroom attached. Good views of fort and over to Umaid Bhavan Palace from the roof terrace. 15 minutes to walk up to Meharangah fort and a short walk to the Clocktower market. Ticks all the boxes!
