Location and heritage character of the property.

Not a friendly property for disabled or injured people. Steps to be climbed for accessing the rooms and restaurants. There is no elevator. It’s understood that lift which is under installation.

Great location right on Assi Ghat. Lovely & friendly staff

Beds were very hard

1. The nostalgia of revisiting the hotel after 4 years and they have updated it a lot. 2. The superb location and the view of Ganges is to die for from the roof specially when it’s raining. 3. Excellent courteous and helpful staff. Mr. Sashi was waiting for my late check in around 11.40 PM. Someone helped me with my printouts and even rushed to give me the receipt which I was forgetting on the desk while leaving. 4. The cook specially prepared veg sauté as per my request. It was wonderful to taste.

1. Nagaland room needs good paint on the walls. 2. Bathroom lacks hand towel hanger and wall hanger for bath towel. 3. Mosquito net of the bathroom window needs to be replaced. 4. I felt the room was overpriced where I have stayed.

Staff , location , building architecture,potential of what it can truely be .

Cleanliness in corridors is abysmal . Lacks hygiene. Massive let down from the potential it has

This property is very close to assi ghat and you can enjoy Ganga aarati from here. Staff is very supportive and they guide you best.

As it is heritage property, lift is not available now but work is in progress so can be available in few months.

Location was good, as in right at the Assi Ghat, which is the starting point of all Ghats. One could see the river from one room on top floor. Food preparation was good but choice was limited

Rooms are not airy or well designed. Staff is not really helpful. Though the rates are high, it does not provide luxury or comfort. Despite booking through Booking.com, the hotel wanted upfront payment, months in advance. You need to take the stairs to the top most room which is the 5th floor. This fact is not clarified in advance
