"Beautiful Polchar"

Lovely cottage, super cosy and comfortable. Large living areas and big bedrooms with comfortable beds. The garden is huge and a great place to explore.

Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Adorably Unique in every way, comfortably and beautifully decorated with very “homey” feel, beds and linens/duvet extremely comfortable, centrally located for our activities, activities for little ones, so much indoors and outdoors in the gardens to explore!!

We could not figure out how to use the stove/ovens even with owner’s manual. Also, no electrical outlet for hairdryer or flat iron in bathrooms.

"Amazing holiday"

Fabulous family holiday. The host was so accommodating! We had an amazing time, 6 adults, 2 kids and a dog. We had a BBQ the first night, enjoyed the hot tub, visited the landmark adventure park, go karting and took a walk to a local pub. We got a taxi home and the woman was lovely. The beds were comfortable, we had all the cooking facilities we needed and enjoyed the log fire. We would definitely return! House is beautiful!

Wouldn't stop us returning but the grounds really need some maintenance. There was 2 broken chairs and a table and a lot of over grown areas. The playpark is right at the bottom of the garden so not in sight. There is a house on the land that was empty but we were informed people were staying in it on our last night. Did not bother us at all but worth knowing as the hot tub looks on to the house. Also if you have a dog its enclosed but they could still go far and we removed a tic, so kept him close by

Amazing surroundings, the pictures do not do this property justice. Quiet, peaceful, the sound of the stream nearby. Spacious property with views out each window

Small challenge with the cookware, fantastic cook’s knives that were blunt and unable to cut cake 🫣
