Record Hotel - Complimentary Afternoon Tea

the room is spacious for 3 of us. you can see the fireworks from the nearby Downtown

we stayed here for 2 nights. The room is a studio room with balcony and Han River View. The booking.com describes the Property with the facility inter alia Kitchen. We reached the Property at night due to the flight delay. As expected, there is a kitchen with stove but without cook wares, kitchen utensils and not even a single plate, bowl, spoon or forks. I had read the other's review that we may request those from the hotel and they will provide. We went down to the reception and requested him to provide us those things so that we can cook our own food during our stay. The staff came up to our room and contacted his lady manager through phone and he told us that we can only cook our own meals if we stay there on a monthly basis (which is not stated in the property description). we insisted to have as we chose the room with kitchen with the high expectation we can cook. We kept telling them that we need that badly as we have to cook our own simple halal food and it would be very unfair to us as the payment has been made but we could not get what we were supposed to get. After some discussion. the lady manager on the phone shouted at me and rudely and proudly told me that it was not her problem and asked us to liase directly with booking.com, the place I made a booking, if I was not satisfied with the facility. then we requested to change the room without kitchen facility at a lower price, but it seemed all were booked. As it was already night and all of us were so tired after the long flight, unhappily we decided to just stay there. So, for that night I had to take a taxi to find our own food. To the property management: It was quite embarrassing when you treat your customers in such unexpected and unethical ways. The customer just want you to provide what you are supposed to provide

The facilities, the price, the view, the size of the room, everything was wonderful. This is such an underrated property in Da Nang. You're offered so much value for your money. The location is not the prime since it's a bit off from the city center. But it's compensated by a spectacular view. You can enjoy the dragon fire show and the fireworks in Downtown Da Nang free!

Buffet can improve. Not much western cuisine. But manageable

Room not given on arrival @ 12.30 pm though not occupied as the check in time is 2 pm.

No shower, only a hose in bath tub and bath tub felt not attached to wall, but wasn't a free-standing claw foot bath. Breakfast was average

Comfortable beds, good shower pressure and beautifull smelling bathroom products. Great views and quiet. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. The pool was refreshing and covered so no problems with getting sunburnt. The balcony was fantastic for drying clothes as it was glassed in and very hot.

Very clean and comfortable.

The location is not the city Center. About 2km from city Center. Need to take grab if you look for food
