The host tried to think and supply everything you might appreciate whilst staying at her emaculate property. From electric blankets to chocolate biscuits and fresh juice and fruit..adjusting the heating to meet your needs.
Personally, I find it challenging driving up steep hills. Maybe it's my age being 70. I like easy access. But the view was worthwhile.

If you travel to Oamaru, which we highly recommend, the best place to stay is "A stone's throw to Oamaru central" wonderful housing unit with a spectacular view and a lovely hostess. We were sorry we had to leave.
