A Stone's Throw to Oamaru Central

We stayed in New Zealand for a month, and this was our most enjoyable stay! It's modern, spacious and spotless. Helen was extremely friendly and thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and make us feel at home. There were only two of us, but there are two bedrooms in the guest suite and it would be very comfortable for four people. Plenty of breakfast options, continental style, were provided in the room (there isn't a separate kitchen), along with some extra snacks. There's a nature reserve just across the street, and it's possible to walk into town if you can navigate steep hills. Bonus feature: the best toilet paper anywhere in New Zealand!!

There's nothing we didn't like.

Clean, comfortable beds and easy access.

Lovely breakfast, with lots of fresh fruit. Also our host made a fab coleslaw surprise later in the day. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen.Totally recommend staying at her B&B. Quiet, private and very handy.

High quality fixtures and fittings, comfy bed, quiet location, friendly helpfull owner. Ample continental breakfast. All as described.

Helen is the most amazing and friendly host. She is very organised and the property is immaculately clean. The breakfast supplies were excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much, it was like going to stay at a favourite relatives place.

Nothing to dislike.

Inadequate facilities for preparing and eating meals. No sofas or comfortable chairs inside. Dependence on host for washing dishes. Limited hot water.

Helen was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Great attention to detail throughout the space. Large, luxurious bathroom.

Set high on a hill above Oamaru but unfortunately no views from the rooms and not really easy to walk to town.
