Kowdi House - A Heritage Homestay

Location is central with all the needed amenities. close to Subash park and Marine drive if you want to take a relaxed stroll during your stay. Staffs and the owner were very friendly and made my mother's and sister's stay very comfortable and safe. I definitely recommend Kowdi house.

Kitchen was okay but a bit messy. Could have been nice if it was clean like the room you provided. We only use it at the time of arrival for a brief period, don't know the status after that but other than the kitchen all the other parts of the property are squeaky clean.

Very very spacious and super nicely decorated room ( the ceiling, the lights, furniture), very complete and with the heritage feel. Very friendly owners who provided tips where to go ( we loved the Kerala museum, which provided nice overview of history) and the Mattancherry palace with Dutch maps from 1670. We also enjoyed the Kerala breakfast at Kowdi and the packed breakfast for our train journey 😍

Even though it is in the heart of Kochi it was a calm and serene place. The rooms were really spacious, neat and cozy. The hosts were really friendly and helpful

The cordial behaviour of the staff and management. Nice traditional ambience with modern facilities.
