The New Inn

Light and airy, clean, staff were lovely, robes were a nice touch and good size, seating area and bath were a plus.

Bed as a bit too firm for us, no bin by the kettle, wc floor slippery, could hear music from the kitchen below first thing in the morning. Breakfast was ok.

Very lovely pub and accommodation. Clean and well presented. Food was excellent.

The music stated in the bar at 7:30am which could be heard in our room very loudly. Breakfast was 8-10 and at 9:15 there was barely anything laid out and had to ask for it to be replenished.

Upon arrival, the staff greeted us at the bar. They were polite and accommodating and offered to carry our bags as we were shown to our room. The room was stunning, clean with traditional wooden beams and a real country look with mugs, tea and coffee which complemented the room (named Fox). House rules were clear and WiFi passwords etc were clearly written on a piece of paper. Food that night was lovely: the restaurant was classy with a hint of village pub to it. There was a good choice of drinks from local sources including gin and ciders. The food was lovely, served hot and delicious. We stayed in the restaurant and the snug area long the evening and Zak the waiter did an amazing job bringing us drinks. We didnt go to the bar once and I dont think we went to the bar once or left a gin un-tried. Breakfast was a lovely, fresh continental. Unfortunately a cold only sample the danishes as the gin was still making its presence known however my partner tried a few bit including the fruit covered yoghurt which she said was amazing. Checkout at 11 was nice as it was a bit later than a lot of places and we were greeted as we departed. Overall, a fantastic stay and we will be coming back

The only fault I have was being tall and observant, I kept hitting my head on the glass lamp shade 🤦. The rest was faultless

The bedroom - bed, bath, shower, other furnishings, complimentary biscuits all exceptional. All the food - dinner and breakfast also lovely. Service from Nathan could not be faulted

Quire noisy on a Saturday night for a little while - but earplugs were provided Room was slightly on the chilly side early evening and radiators wouldn't come on. But was nice and warm later on Bedside lamp didn't come on but room had plenty of alternative lighting

We arrived before our check-in time but liked that we could sit and have a drink at the bar and watch some sports before check in. I also thought it was a nice touch that the staff had provisionally booked us a table for dinner incase we wanted to dine there.

Great room, we stayed in Hare which was spacious and luxurious. The food was great, and the staff and the manager so helpful and welcoming. The relaxing garden and a fantastic meal was just what we needed after a day of paddling down the Wye. We'd read about noise from the road in other reviews but we didn't notice it at all and slept extremely well. Stunning place, I'd definitely recommend.

The only thing I'd improve on a little was the breakfast. The manager was fantastic, bringing us extra salmon and fruit but a little hot food would have been welcome.
