Wonderful staff , so welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and kind . Food was superb from lunch , evening meal and the excellent breakfast provided . The room was very comfortable and the homemade cookies was such a lovely touch . We loved our stay and would recommend it 100% .

We had a lovely stay at this inn. The room was aesthetically very nice and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful little touches like the biscuits to enjoy with our tea and coffee. Everything was sparkling clean, and it really made the stay feel relaxing and homely. Would definitely recommend.

"Excellent once again"

I think this is my fifth visit. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food at dinner. There is quite a lot of noise from the bar (heard in the bedrooms) but this obviously ceases completely when the pub closes.

The breakfast is only continental (I think there was a hot option last time I stayed).

Great food and excellent friendly service. The "Hare" room was large and the bed was comfortable.

No wash stand in the bathroom for toiletry bags. No light above the dressing table and the touch bedside lights were very temperamental. Lots of noise from both the main road and the bar below.
