Comfortable and a lovely location

Very disappointing the castle and grounds were closed over the two days of our stay. Would have loved to see the gardens and house and was our reason for booking

"A beautiful and luxurious B&B in a traditional royal setting"

This is a very luxurious B&B in a beautiful setting overlooking the Castle of Mey. Our room was just lovely - and so comfortable. Amazing bathroom! The residents lounge area was also stunning. Highly recommend. The staff were so welcoming and helpful.

It is a shame that it is not possible to have a full hot evening meal - so we went out leaving a beautiful setting. We probably should have ordered the platters which are on offer to avoid a journey out. Breakfast is also rather limited.

breakfast was very limited We were allocated the only dog friendly room in the lodge and we were not previously made aware of this .
