Wonderful pub, good food, beautiful setting and comfy beds

For the price the rooms were in need of a little TLC ( they are nicely decorated but quite a few marks on walls, carpets, bathrooms had seen better days) No toiletries ( I had 2 tiny bottles - both different brands - one had been used so presume left by previous occupant) or robes - at over £200 per room per night it would really be expected as would a coffee machine. We stay in a lot of good hotels with a similar rate where these things are standard. However breakfast was good, most of the staff were very helpful despite it being very busy in the pub. Quite a bit of noise until all the residents had come into their rooms but bed was comfy and it’s a lovely outlook.

Great staff. Great place. Staff could not do enough too help. Will be going back.

10am check out. Not good if you're going to a venue. As you could be over the alcohol limit for the drive home. Recommend paying for the late checkout.
