The Highdown – Brunning and Price

Our stay was exceptional - so many thoughtful touches in our room and en-suite and everything was of the best quality. We stayed for three nights and chose to eat at The Highdown every morning and evening as the food was just excellent! We were made to feel so welcome by the team - we will definitely be back. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Good parking, lovely room and staff. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. Lovely ambiance and furnishings.

I arrived just before 9pm to check in. No signposts visible to hotel reception. The staff needed to check if i could have a sandwich and a coffee and requested payment before i had got to the room. Room was lovely but stairs with a suitcase and two bags without any offer of help.The toilets from the bar are uo two flights of stairs.

Situated next to South Downs National Park and High down Gardens, this doggy friendly hotel is very comfortable and clean room. Lovely pub/restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Very impressed with facilities for the dog. Gift, snacks, feeding bowls, bed and poo bag!

Good parking. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels were excellent. Very convenient to be able to eat there as it is a distance from town. Lovely garden next door.
