Super location with gardens adjoining. Breakfast good.

Hotel is dog friendly which is fine but two dogs in room next to us left on their own all day barking. Impossible for my husband to have a nap. Was not impressed with the Manager's handling of the situation. Lovely tea rooms but they shut at 3 pm so unable to get afternoon tea.

The whole weekend was fantastic. We were there for a family wedding including the supper before at the Highdown and I cannot fault one thing. An amazing stay, thank you

Location was good for Highdown garden and Teashop. The accomodation annex building itself was fairly new but layout not good for anyone with walking issues. I booked ground floor accommodation but there are three steps up and three steps down to room 6 which we were allocated so not ideal for my elderly mother. Room itself was clean and beds were comfortable, with tea and coffee plus water included. However there was no rubber mat for the shower or grab handles, although I appreciate this was not a room for disabled these items would also of been helpful for myself not just for Mother.

everything went well..even the small glitches were almost charming. it was a wonderful stay, the food was very good and the staff charming
