The property was very comfortable. My family and I were able to enjoy each other with enough space to also take some time to ourselves. The pool table was also a nice addition.

The seating in the deck area was not as appealing as the rest of the property.

"Nice house but disappointing experience"

The property is a 2-storey house. It comes with 4 rooms on level 2, 2 bathrooms ( 1 ensuite ) plus 1 toilet on the ground level. It comes fully equipped with sufficient cutleries, utensils, disposable bags, paper napkins etc.

I was attracted by the nice photos presented in the property profile. However, when we settled in, I began to discover some shortcomings. 1. the master bedroom water heater was at best producing lukewarm water - this mattered as it was the end of January and the weather was still rather cold. 2. the booking process was rather troublesome. Even though I had guaranteed my booking with full details of my credit card, the property owners still insisted I submit my identity documents barely a week before my arrival. Calls made by Booking.com to assure them I was a legit client were to no avail. Booking.com had told them that I've been making hotel reservations through them since 2006 or 18 years, made no difference to them. 3. The worst part of the stay came as a shock to me, several days after I left. I was told that they had placed a charge of $100 against my security deposit, to cover the cost of cleaning a stain on the sofa which they alleged was caused by me. They insisted that their contract cleaner had taken photos of the entire place every time before the property was handed over to a new guest. To me, it was untrue because I had arrived when the cleaner was still cleaning the house and had personally witnessed how the cleaner took only several photos of the entire place and not specifically on the condition of the sofa. So it was impossible to tell if the stain was caused by me or an earlier guest. Protesting against this unwarranted charge did nothing to stop them from charging the extra $100 to my credit card. Based on this experience, I will never stay in another house but would rather book professionally run hotels to save all such hassles! To sum up, it ranks amongst one of my worst travel accommodation experiences in my 50 years of international travels covering over 300 cities around the world! To be fair the property has its good points, and I have given credit where it's due.

"Not Nice,"

General house appearance.

The house smelled like weed (marijuana) for 2 days. Owners said they would send someone out with special spray, but no one showed up. Next, the window sill near the pool table was filled with ashes from the weed smokers. Next, the back porch deck was filthy and in disrepair. Next, the microwave was filthy and had a plate full of old melted cheese in it. The queen or full bed mattresses were old and had no support so that it felt like the middle of the beds were collapsing. The hot water took 30 to 40 minutes to heat up. For the amount of money we paid, I feel we weren’t able to enjoy the house properly.
