Stylish & cosy barn minutes from the Lake District

Location is wonderful, parking and outdoor space plenty and everything provided was clean, modern and to a high standard

A gorgeous little character 1 bedroom cottage style house.

The adjoining Lane is a farm track and was a bit muddy but to be expected.

Comfortable bed, clean towels and lovely fireplace.

I wish I could stay longer.

Mostly stylish. Upstairs much more modern, but cosy feel. Secure outside space making it perfect for guests bringing the dogs. Super comfy beds. Everywhere was spotless clean!

There wasn’t much I didn’t like. If we’re being ridiculously picky… there were a few scuff marks to walls which could be easily covered with a paint, a few water marks downstairs by the doors, larger tv & make it lower so you’re not having to crank your neck to watch anything, more modern cooker & worktop. Please give more than 1 match for the wood fire, & actually more wood, enough to last a few evenings. No heating on prior to our arrival in mid Jan, it was freezing, took till the next morning to feel a good temp again. No point having that hairdryer. But, honestly, that’s just being personal preference & really picky!

Really easy location off the motorway. Very well equipped self catering, and absolutely immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Hosts very helpful and helped return a left item.

My only feedback to the host was that the mattress felt a bit worn, but they were appreciated of the feedback and feel it's a small criticism overall.

Great accommodation, had everything we needed which made for a lovely stay! The enclosed yard was great as we could let our dog outside without worrying

Such a stunning little barn. I wish the fencing had wire too so I could let me dog off the lead. Very warm and cosy! Lovely views and silence of the Lake District.

There was no oil, salt or pepper.
