Cumbrian cottage, sleeps 6, in convenient location

Exactly as described and better. The house is over 3 floors and is huge. Felt really at home and didn't want to leave. Perfect location for exploring the Lake District. Rural yet close enough to amenities.

Convenient location and very clean

Wonderful cottage, very conveniently located near the M6 and close to several lakes in the Lake district. We received all relevant information ahead of the checkin, and once in, we found biscuits, milk, porridge and brownies, which was a delightful unexpected surprise. The cottage is lovely, rich of details and comfort. Highly recommended

Huge property. Plenty space for a family of five. Lovely and clean. Great location for hoping on off M6. Great stop over from coming down from Scotland and nipping into the lakes for the weekend. Sun room and balcony off bedroom was bliss enjoyed a couple of drinks in the evening sat up there. Play park right around the corner. Fantastic friendly pub with some great food and drink beer garden with play area right around corner from the property. Lovely little gated patio area great for letting dog out safely. Will be booking here again.

Could just do with some curtains or blinds on the door into sun room and in the sun room for a bit more privacy and a mirror or two in both double bedrooms. Club house behind is well used so a bit of traffic aside and behind the property coming in and out but this didn’t affect our stay and we couldn’t hear any noise inside of the property.

Close to the motorway. Easy to access.

The parking outside the house is first come first serve. But there is plenty on street parking surround the house.
