Very central 2 bedroom flat in World Heritage Site

Location

Much too full of personal belongings. Very cluttered and only cleaned around all of the clutter. Very dirty building and very treacherous stairs. Plants growing in pots impeded entry into apartment.

A very cosy apartment in the centre of Glasgow, at a walking distance of everything. Quiet and charming

The location and the eclectic interiors. We had a lovely warm welcome from the host

The cups and plates weren’t very clean, and the gas oven was old and difficult to light.

Lovely hosts. Flat was very cluttered. Generally very clean although some harder to reach areas had not been cleaned.

Great location & facilities with everything within easy walking distance. Very homely and welcoming with a lovely bathroom. A peaceful spot especially considering how central it is. Lovely quirky New Town apartment with plenty of good pubs and places to eat nearby and the bonus of George Street just being a 5 minute walk away. We loved it because it’s as far away from a soulless white box of an apartment or hotel room as you can get and as such a proper New Town experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook in the future.

I liked the clutter... and the furnishings and the flat in general. Quiet. warm. This place is so full of stuff you can hardly move. My fellow guest found the flat creepy, full of stuff which is not really appropriate for a rental flat. The drawers by the bedside, some of the artwork... the stuff everywhere. Sooner or later someone will abuse this stuff when renting this flat. It feels like the owner moved out yesterday. If this is a long term rental then this stuff needs cleared out... The smaller bedrooom needs better black out.. the flimsey veils on the roof window are not adaquate. I would stay her again but my friend said no...

We absolutely loved the apartment: its central location, classy decor and a very great host. We appreciate his flexibility, communication and friendliness.

The only thing to mention is how cold it was in spite of the heating being on. Especially the front room and the smaller bedroom, which had no radiator. Mind me saying this as we stayed in December! Old properties are cold, so bring a hot water bottle with you.

Brilliant nice host ,nice location and looked after well,Salah is a credit to the hospitality industry ,who cares about his guests .it was a pleasure to stay in such a historic bit of the town
