Very central 2 bedroom flat in World Heritage Site

The apartment was cosy and comfortable. It was in an excellent location and easy walking distance to most major landmarks.

The beds were a little small but comfortable.

Great location, the property was lovely and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive before and on arrival! I would definitely stay here again the next time I plan a trip to Edinburgh.

Location.

We travel extensively and I can confirm the apartment is not your usual rental. Every nook and cranny is filled with what appears to be personal items and very odd items (teddy bears, personal binders, pictures of an East Indian family, large doll in a closet, post cards in drawers, boxes of stuff on high shelves in the bedrooms, etc). The apartment needed a good cleaning, especially the bathroom. There were power cords everywhere, which is a fire hazard. The beds were not comfortable, and one of the beds was raised to accomodate a dresser underneath it, but one of the support legs was not secured (see photo). Even if it was properly secured, it was dangerous getting in due to raised height of bed.

The owner of the flat and the host were both very nice and welcoming. The flat itself is characterful and nicely furnished, in contrast with most airbnbs which have a pretty generic, bland vibe. The location was excellent, in a beautiful neighbourhood walking distance to the city centre.

Friendly owner an great reception. It was a very unique house, which we liked. The location was beautiful as well and we didn't mind the walk to the city as there was a lot to see. The facilities were great as well and a lot of nice restaurants were close by. Would recommend!

Friendly staff that adjusted to meet our needs and allowed us a flexible time slot for both moving in and moving out. They were punctual, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The place was lovely, just as in the pictures. It's very well-lit, too!
