I was given my check in details of how to enter the property at 17.30pm even though check in is at 15,00pm. It's probably because I said I wasn't coming uptil 21.00pm And when I asked for the check in details early at like 16.00pm as i was travelling over on a ferry, i was worried my Internet might go before i find out as you havebto go online download an app to let yourself in, i found this confusing as iv never opened a door this way. it's always been a combination and a key. The house wasn't very clean, inside the kitchen Coubards. The Stairs needs a good clean. And a not so nice smell in the air everywhere, especially where I was sleeping I could smell like feet smell. 🤢 I went to give my toddler and myself a bath and it wouldn't fill up as the plug wouldn't work. The area looked really rough too.

The main bedroom was comfy.

You’re met with a musty smell, missing cupboards, shabby decoration, an overgrown garden with fag butts and a leaking tap. The WiFi does not work in the front bedroom. Cups in the cupboard are obviously years old mini egg ones covered in stains. The floor boards are insanely creaky. The desk in the front room feels like it’s going to collapse. To charge over a £100 for a one night stay on a Tuesday here is insane.

Poor cleanliness. Creeky floors. Terrible Parking situation. Dirty overgrown garden. Kitchen hob didn’t work. No bulb in lamp shade. No knives for cutting. Very few pots and kitchen utensils. Only 3 chairs at table - booked for 4 people. One cupboard has door missing. No towels. Bathroom light constantly flashing. Awful location, rubbish all chucked out on the street. The lock situation was terrible. We isn’t get sent the code until nearly two hours after arriving in Portsmouth. Then the app didn’t work so we were locked out the following day and tools hours to get hold of the host. All in all shocking!

We choose the property as we wanted to be close to the swimming pool, and it was definitely close. In fact it wasn’t far away from everything. It was very comfortable.

They were a bit late delivering the method on how to enter, but in the end it didn’t cause any issues. I have never experienced the locking system before but once I knew how to use it, it was great. A little sparse on kitchen equipment but again didn’t affect us.

Very run down. not like the pictures. Paintwork is messy and unfinished decorating in every room. It was dusty and mirrors had smears and hand prints on. Used coffee packs in with new ones. The heating didn't work nor did the ovens. No aerial for the TV. I left a message for the landlord because the TV also wasn't working waited for a reply and someone to bring a wire for the fire stick so sat in silence until then. The 'terrace' was covered in weeds and old scrap wood from an old DIY project. a little seating out there wouldnt go amiss. Poor use of what could be a nice garden to sit in. Pots of paint and old rollers and paintbrushes left in the kitchen. Maybe they were hoping for someone to come and finish what they've started. The shower does not have anywhere to hang so you shower with 1 hand holding the hose. Holes in tiles in the bathroom. Overall extremely disappointed, for the amount we paid I was expecting a LOT better!

The house is a 12 minute walk to Portsmouth International Port, this was ideal as we had dropped my dad at the Port for his cruise. Towels and toiletries provided.

I did read the previous reviews which are mixed. There is no parking due to permit parking, there is a car park at the end of the road. We got there around 17.30pm. We got the last space so if you want parking you may want to take this into consideration. To access the property the host will send you a link which you need to download an app for. You need to have your blue tooth on and each time you want to enter the property you have to access the link via your phone. Poor communication from the host as I messaged the day before and was sent the link, then the day of arrival received a message saying my code would be sent. We arrived and I messaged for the code and was advised download the app and this will give you access. This should have been fully explained prior to arrival. Once you close the door when you are in you have to turn the knob to ensure the door is closed We entered the home and it did smell musty, and did feel unclean. There was a list of DONT's but no lists of helpful hints. Had to message the host for heating instructions and just received a few words that the heating is controlled by the white box in the living room. Had to press all the buttons until it came on. Would have been helpful to have had a simple user guide. We didn't use the kitchen, but there where washed tea towels drying on a maiden in the kitchen and needs some TLC. Upstairs is nice but does need some jobs finishing off. Very drafty of an evening, and we realized there is a gap in the bathroom window between the frame at the top and the window. This meant our bedroom door kept creaking in the night. The bathroom towel rail does not heat up, and the wire leads behind the skirting board which has a 1-2 inch gap between the skirting board and wall. Unsure where the wire leads to. Two random holes in the bathroom wall covered by a screen I assume at some point there was a window in there. There is a peice missing on the end of bath near the door where the panel is.
