Compact and comfortable. Owners friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Scones, jam and Devon cream; Tea, coffee and milk in the fridge on arrival.😋

Donna and her husband were so kind to us. They prepared everything for us with love, and gave attention to all the details that make a stay comfortable and memorable. We can't thank them enough. Looking forward to our next stay at their beautifully located holiday home.

What a lovely guest house close to the beach at Holcombe.,via quite a steep hill! Very comfortable and well equipped. Tasty and welcome cream tea on arrival from Donna.

It seemed a little unusual to not have a hob in the kitchen , but there was a grill in the microwave.

Close to the beach, right by bus stops (with frequent buses to Dawlish & Teignmouth). Seating area in the beautiful garden. The weather was great, so we took full advantage of it. Late check out at noon was a nice touch! While there’s no hob, there is an electric multicooker, a slow cooker and a microwave with grill function.

Everything you could need was there.the cream tea topped it off after a 4hr train journey there,so we plonked ourselves on the settee and enjoyed it.owners went all out to help you feel welcomed.my mother wants to go back next year,even though her walking is not very good and with the bus stops just outside it was convenient for her.we had a lovely week stay

Nothing not to like

The little house is lovely, everything nice, comfortable, well-equipped. Wasn’t expecting the delicious cream tea. Very pleased, the best of seven places I stayed on this trip.

Just don’t expect to be near a sandy beach. The name of the property and the ‘stone’s throw’ are a bit misleading, if that is important to you.
