"Ideal home from home with everything ."

We loved the log burning fire , and the stunning secret garden .

There was no village shop for last minute bits.

"Brilliant accommodation, which was well situated for our plans whilst in Yorkshire."

The traditional features, including the fireplace and wooden beams. Kitchen was great and suited our needs, with all appliances and kitchen utensils needed. Comfy beds. Nice shower.

Not a dislike but just a note that the carpet on the stairs is coming lose and care needed to be taken when using them.

This cottage was exceptional. It was beautifully maintained, it had all of the original features, including the log burner, which was easy to light and fuel and logs had been left which was an added bonus. Despite the original features this cottage has been carefully and tastefully decorated so that original meets modern. The bathroom was modern and of a high standard as was the kitchen and furniture. The added bonus of a welcome basket with tea bags, biscuits, drinks and much more was just beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and as a woman staying alone I felt so safe. Thank you so much for the BEST stay. I cannot wait to go back and have been showing all my family and friends your amazing cottage.

Beautiful cottage that has been tastefully updated to have all modcons. Stunning views, great bed, TV, fast Internet, great contact with owner and a lovely welcome pack. Couldn't ask for more.

A beautiful 17th century mid-terrace cottage with a modern twist. Comfy beds, a modern bathroom, a well-stocked kitchen with lots of crockery and glasses, comfy sofas and in a quiet location. We really appreciated the welcome hamper as well, and the host was very responsive to any messages. The photos of this place do not do it proper justice!

Slightly tricky to work out the controls for the heating but it's a very minor point!

"Beautiful historic cottage with modern comforts"

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished cottage. The views from the cottage were gorgeous, there were nearby walks on quite lanes and public footpaths, and the location was convenient for sight-seeing. There was even a treat hamper in the kitchen for us. We appreciated the later check-out time of 11 o'clock. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable visit.
