Comfortable and clean rooms. Good range of essentials available for guests.

The location of the room I stay in to the road outside. Could be noisy at times in the night.

Good was surprisingly quiet given it about a pub, no noise disturbance at all. Clean room and excellent staff in the bar. Lovely meal at the grill.

Shower was a bit weak and difficult to get the right temperature.

Steep stairs to get to rooms also stairs down into the room I didn't see the small notice on the wall outside the room and because it was dark fell down them resulting in a bang to the head. Also I could not get internet code to work and shower was temperamental going hot and cold

Comfy bed with nice linen in a quiet location. The room had plenty of storage and power sockets which was particularly important to me. Good level of contact with the owners who couldn't be more helpful. Very clean too! Plenty of parking. Walking distance to town centre shops, leisure centre and cafes. Nice walk also to Tudhoe village. Day trip to Durham City, Seaham beach and the Metro Centre. The area has so much to offer. Even a trip to Hexham rummaging in the antique shops and visit to Hexham Abbey skirting along the beautiful North Penines. Hidden treasures and all free.

Nothing really, but the steep stairs to access the room might cause difficulties for some people.

Food was excellent really tasty and excellent portion size, room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable

Nothing much maybe just a few bits to tidy up, its an old pub so just a bit of wear and tear to keep on top of

The location of the property was great, we traveled around a bit so it was easy to get to and from tyhe property. The welcome was very good, the member of staff showed us to our room and explained and the eddentials. The food in the Black Horse was excellent, and plentiful, didn't have to wait
