"A wonderful stay"

The staff and service were extremely good. We are not typical for guests being a couple without children - the hotel looked after us well and we plan to return with grandchildren in the future. The EV charger worked well (it's PodPoint). The footpaths from the hotel have beautiful views of the Fleet and the sea. Bring binoculars if you want to look at the birdlife.

"Moonflower stay."

9.0

The staff were great the room was lovely, needed heating which didn't seem to work that well. If we were there longer we would have used some of the many facilities. Would definitely stop there again.

Didn't really enjoy breakfast, great selection, but the cooked English breakfast was very cold, and fried eggs always better than scrambled.

Lovely spacious rooms with very comfy beds. Hotel has a lovely welcoming feel, very cosy, with open fires. Plenty of rooms for relaxing over tea or to play a board game. Great facilities for children and adults alike.

"A wonderful spot slightly undermine by the faded elegance o"

8.0

It is based in the most beautiful and peaceful location. We also thought the food at dinner was delicious and the staff were always helpful and charming.

We thought it was a shame that the dining room, which should have the most wonderful view over the Chesil bank, seems to have a view over an air-conditioned chimney. It also felt as if the furniture in the dining room was only focused on the under-5s (easy wipe/robust) rather than adults, although we do understand it markets itself as child-friendly.

"What a gem! We will come back, with the grandchildren... they would love it!"

9.0

Lovely bedroom..and great bathroom. Loved the swimming pool. It was super dog friendly! Very helpful staff... Meals were mostly delicious Ambience within the hotel was great. Loved the artwork! Original and quirky! Slightly ramshackle vibes but we like that. We felt very relaxed and welcomed. I would love to come with my young grandchildren... so many lovely activities and toys and games galore!

The meals as said previously were excellent but slightly pricey... We didn't receive a bill after our expensive dinners which I would have appreciated rather than have to query the invoice at the end of our stay. Easy to put in place, I would have thought, and then any queries can be dealt with by the excellent staff ....
