Spacious Apartment -Double and Sofabed -Wonderful Royal Pavilion Views

Spacious apartment, the kitchen was well-equipped, with both a clean oven and microwave. There were additional amenities, vegetable oil, herbs, ketchup, salt and pepper, dish washing soap and not to forget, a full basket of fruit (apples, bananas, tangerines), so much, we couldn’t finish it all in a week. The washing machine and dryer in one was helpful with our young son and the host kindly provided a clothing drying rack to dry our delicate clothing. The location adjacent to the Brighton Dome, Pavilion gardens and Royal Pavilion was excellent, this is also situated near many restaurants and shops. The host was very helpful and quick to solve (maintenance) issues, she recently took over the responsibility of the apartment and is catching up on the overdue maintenance to make the apartment in excellent condition again.

The King-bed is a UK king-size, which means 150cm wide, which is different from the EU king size which is usually between 160-180cm wide. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but good to realise that in the UK, kingsize is smaller. The WiFi connectivity wasn’t stable, the host is trying to improve the quality of the WiFi but of course couldn’t fix this during our stay (network providers are not that fast to respond). The apartment is a bit humid, but the host did manage to get maintenance in, to fix the problem of not being able to open the bedroom window, which caused most of the humidity problems. Also, the ventilation in the bathroom didn’t work, the pieces needed to fix that had a longer delivery time, so they were not able to fix that during our stay, but shortly after they would fix this.

Very well appointed apartment, close to many amenities and attractions. Jane was a very attentive and pleasant host, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Brighton is perhaps a little to lively for oldies.

Excellent location near the Royal Pavilion, the Pavilion Cafe and The Lanes. Well equipped kitchen.

Location was lovely. Great view over the pavilion gardens and five minutes walk from the Pavilion and the Lanes. Apartment fully equipped for a short break. The communication from the owner was excellent.

It’s in a great location with a lovely view of the park. Especially great for the Brighton Dome but close to everything. We had a slight issue gaining access but the owners responded very quickly and sorted things within minutes.

The mattress was a bit harder than I’m used to.

All was good

We had a great stay in this apartment, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids! Kids were happy and comfortable on the sofa bed and enjoyed Netflix on the TV along with the game of X’s and O’s! Location couldn’t have been better.

Prime location and great contact from the hosts

The property was noticeable dirty, we ended up hoovering the floor ourselves, there was dust/dirt on multiple surfaces. The bedsheets didn’t feel clean or fresh.
