"I loved Birmingham but won’t be going back here"

location and price. it was cheap but it felt it. Shower OK.

Pictures flatter to deceive. Damp/ old laundry hanging in stairwell which made it feel grubby/unloved/unwelcoming. Bath not working. (We wanted a bath when we arrived.) Loo seat loose Bed uncomfortable/cheap. Needs a better bed and a few more welcoming touches, eg better towels. If you did that you could probably charge more too.

hairs in bedding, bath, sink, very loud uncomfortable bed, thin walls can hear the people in rooms beneath you, guy was nice can’t fault him but the room itself isn’t great and I wouldn’t stay again

Area was great and communication was excellent thank you

Needs to update information on booking. Said it was a private bathroom and it was a shared bathroom. On booking it said 3pm check in for week day but then was told no 6pm unless a surcharge of £10/£20 was agreed.

Convenient location and transport links. Very nice room in excellent condition. Exceptional bathroom, very clean and tidy. Outside and inside the property was very quiet and safe.

"great place…get bigger towels"

friendly host, facilities were as described, comfortable living space

all the room was, was a bed and a bathroom, there was nowhere to store our clothes as the wardrobe doors were facing the wall to make room for a painting of all things, and the only towels we were given were head towels/hand towels
