Peace and quiet on The Limes

Nice welcome on arrival. Lovely place in a lovely quiet area. The apartment had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Clean and comfy... loved the chairs! Thanks very much.

Nothing at all

It was a cute 2 car garage conversion into a lil 'studio'..big enough for a shower/toilet room..a lil kitchen bedroom with a table 2 chairs..and 2 relax back tv chairs very comfortable..bed was large and comfy..a nice size tv with most channels bedside cabinets and chest of drawers..separate entrance and side gate to parked car just outside your room...so can come and go with no disturbance to host...very quiet/ safe area not too far from Shaftesbury Gold Hill famous for Hovis advert many years ago....nice welcome by host...plentiful hot water (eventho someone commented 'no hot water' I thought same till realised the blue red/hot /cold indicators on kitchen and shower room tap are wrong way round...so if you want hot water turn to blue and vice versa for cold) ..liked being able to leave the 3 windows open slightly on 'click of window' as summers been hot and safe to do so (ground floor)....as on 'click' its still closed...and host provided a lil single camp style bed made up in case I couldn't sleep next to snoring husband🤦‍♀️🫣🤫Thank you for that 👍 also room smelt lovely of clean laundry 😀👌

Didn't know how to use tv sky remote (no instructions found)but didn't want to disturb host again..but no matter as there was most freeview/terrestrial channels.. Also didn't see instructions for single hotplate..if we'd bothered we'd have worked it out...no matter tho as we ate out twice.. A lot in such a cute space...Thank you 👍✅️

Everything you needed was in one place. It was separate to the main house so I could come and go without disturbing anyone (I stayed there for a wedding) and there was space on the driveway to park my car.

Quiet location off the beaten track. Very clean well maintained.

Weekend off work; so wanted to visit national trusts in the area so found this room on booking.com. Wasn’t sure what to expect as we have never stayed in someone’s property; but it was lovely. A garage conversion done extremely well. Very clean, all facilities needed on hand for a nights stay; and a great nights sleep! Sorry we didn’t get to see the owners to thank them in person, but thanks very much!

The accommodation takes the form of a single-storey annexe attached to the owner's residence: therefore ensuring seamless registration. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jennifer, who introduced us to the accommodation: initial observation revealing an exceptionally clean and very well equipped & stocked apartment. It is significantly private and peaceful, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. Prior to departure, we were visited by the host, Pina, and, who, like Jennifer, was significantly friendly, engaging, and customer-focused - to the point that we were made to feel most valued. A return visit is planned.

There was nothing not to like.

Useful as a stop off point for our trip and close to Shaftesbury.

Room has been redecorated since photos were taken so dark green walls make the accommodation very dark. Had to have lights on all the time. New appliances included but no instructions books so couldn't use them. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space to sit out on a warm evening.
