Peace and quiet on The Limes

A comfortable studio with ensuite bathroom and options to refrigerate food and use toaster, kettle, an induction cooktop or microwave oven. It is separate, beside the family home, so quite private, with a side gate to access. Two comfortable armchairs for watching TV or reading were a bonus too and the footstools made good small platforms for our open suitcases.

The throw covers on the lounge chairs, though practical did not enhance the decor. Perhaps a better fabric, more fitted cover would be more of an asset to the room.

We were welcomed by a very nice host to this traquile place in a pretty village, great stay!

The annex was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast cereal was of a good standard and in good supply.

There was a barking dog in the morning (don't know if this happens every morning as we only stopped one night).

It's a small mid Dorset town, I cannot imagine they get a lot of traffic, but I could be wrong. I was there overnight and it was more than I expected. Breakfast was porridge with golden syrup, milk was in the fridge and the kitchen well kitted out with a microwave, kettle and a induction plate.

It was great.

Comfy beds

No hot water in kitchen or bathroom taps. Milk for breakfast - insufficient on thf 2nd day, bottle not topped up.

The bed is extremely comfortable, the place is clean, tidy and in a quiet location.

Lovely location, host helpful ,went above and beyond with helping me when I needed to get something to eat, Clive was very helpful in picking up the lovely fish and chips for me.

Bathroom could do with a clean, window frame very dusty on the, extractor fan needs a good clean, mirror needs changing as cracked, basin taps and overflow needs a clean with a brush, shower tray under the door a little dirty. Empty bleach bottle with no lid should have been removed. Tv , no instructions on how to get Netflix on the tv as I couldn’t get it on with the remote that was for Netflix.
