The Cruck Barn, cosy rural escape near The Peak District

Everything, an outstanding property with views that were amazing, couldn’t have been located in a better place, it was so peaceful, just birds happily singing :) Excellent hosts all through our stay which was perfect. We will be back! :)

Everything that we needed was there with lovely extras including home made scones with jam and cream and also a bottle of Prosecco which was so thoughtful, Hilary our host was there to meet us and made us feel very welcome, there was tea, sugar, coffee and milk left for us too and fresh flowers cut from the garden in the kitchen, the grounds are beautiful with lots of pretty flowers and trees. Our accommodation was so clean and comfortable with amazing views, again everything we needed including towels and toiletries, there is a selection of games and books which would be great to have if the weather isn’t so good or you just wanted an evening in, there is a lovely big meadow on the property which is ideal for walking dogs if you wanted to take them. We had a lovely 3 days exploring the area there is so much to see and do, our hosts advised us of some places to eat and visit. Thank you Hilary and Gary for a lovely quiet relaxing stay we would definitely recommend staying here, and will return again ourselves
