Mundo Abu San Juan La laguna

Carlos, Gerson and all the people at the property were amazing, private beach and equipment for water sports, beautiful views from the rooms even if they are not over the lake.

Windows didn’t close properly, no mirror in the room, it’s a rustic style property so be ready for insects, mosquito net over the bed with few holes that I had to fix with a scotch tape.

This place is an absolute gem. Perfect for eco-lovers who appreciate nature, sustainability, and soul. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and from the moment you arrive you truly feel at home. Everything feels intentional, warm, and grounded. One of the best stays I’ve had — I already can’t wait to come back.

EVERYTHING. If you do one thing during your stay in Guatemala it should be staying here. We had the most fantastic stay. Gerson and his wife are so kind and their son Abu is adorable, he even taught me some Spanish. The location is fabulous and so quiet and the rooms are so comfortable. The views are breathtaking and the showers/toilets are always spotless. You can rent water bikes from the family and Gerson is always there to give advice or call you a tuktuk. There’s even an eco sauna! It was the best part of our 2 week stay in Guatemala, we can’t wait to come back!

La localisation très pratique et un peu au calme. Le propriétaire est très sympathique, il nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour. Il fait tout pour que nous nous sentions bien. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la vue depuis notre chambre !
