L'Auberge Provencale Inn & Restaurant

Very tasty. Lots of choices. Excellent fresh squeezed OJ. Staff was exceptional-very professional, friendly and polite.

No complaints at all

Despite being right on a busy road, this is quite a unique place to stay. The staff are all really friendly, polite and just nice people! We started off on a bit of a bad foot because our room was quite noisy with the kitchen fans but when they were turned off, it was much better and the double glazing meant we didnt hear the road. The next morning the staff noted we hadn't liked our room and without us saying anything, asked if we would like to move across the hall - which we did and it was so much better. Both rooms were very clean Great beds, decent showers, ok breakfast. We went on a really great wine tour with the owner who was great - a real raconteur - and his car... OMG an old Cadillac! It was fabulous. We had a first class fine dining dinner that night - bacon has been ruined for me because they do this Pigs on a clothes line which is the most amazing local bacon that they cook infant of you with a blowtorch which caramelises the fat which runs onto the salad below. I will never again be fortunate enough to eat such delicious bacon!!!! The whole meal was great but that was standout. If I am really honest, the rooms are a bit expensive for what they are but the dinner (the bacon) makes up for any small short comings.

Exquisite celebratory off-menu meal prepared, presented and served per our detailed requests. Out of our 54 anniversary meals this one jumped into our top 10 and #1 of our many Chateaubriand. Congratulations and thank yous to all involved from the chef to the pot scrubber.

We stayed at the Inn for our 47th anniversary in the Mistral room. It was spacy and clean and the bed was comfortable, the fireplace an added bonus. No dinner as it was a Tuesday night. The only thing that disappointed us was the Afternoon Treats as advertised. We had been looking forward to that as a celebration. We got a plate in our room with a few madeleines and cookies and a bit of fruit. No refreshments. Nothing like the pastries and afternoon treats in the picture. We were told that because we were the only guests that night they didn’t set up the treats in the restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a relaxing getaway at this historic location. The food was delicious, and our room was very comfortable and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful overnight and lovely anniversary dinner! Not our first time, but the stay was, as always, a great experience!

Chamber 10 was very comfy, loved the fireplace. Dinner was wonderful - delicious, innovative and beautiful food, The staff was so welcoming and attentive. A truly unique experience.

Beautiful room and grounds.

We had a wonderful stay at the L'Auberge Provencale Inn and Restaurant between Sept. 18 - 21, 2005. We had a total of 20 family members attend the gathering. Overall the visit was rated highly by all family members. The special recognitions went to 1. the room accommodations (well equipped, well decorated and generously sized). 2. Breakfast offerings and qualtiy were top of the chart. Excellent selection and all were rated as very tasty. 3. Wendy Kirby was exceptional in helping me plan the events at the Inn ... friendly, responsive and easy to work with on all aspects of the planing. 4. Many off-site activities in the surrounding area were enjoyed by family members.
