Charming bed and breakfast establishment with Customer service their number one priority. The entire staff from grounds keeper to bar keeps are professional, engaging, and extremely polite. The spirits and wine cellar are top shelf and bar tenders truly mixologists. Rooms are quiet. Breakfast options are fantastic and include fresh squeezed OJ. Front office is highly organized and welcoming. Short drive (8 miles) to Lucketts flea market.

This place is a little piece of French heaven in Virginia. The gardens were stunning, our room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and the meals were exquisite. We will definitely be back to try out more of their themed rooms.

Beautiful location and property, delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff.

The room decor was lovely but the layout was awkward. We did not like the two levels in the room - especially if it was necessary to get up at night to use the bathroom. The step down from sleeping area to bathroom needed better lighting. The steam aromatherapy shower had no instructions for use. The hair dryer conked out when using it on the last morning. The room above us had a very squeaky floor which made it difficult to sleep if guests were active at night. In fact, for 2 of our 3 nights the were quite noisy. It would be helpful to remind those staying in the 2nd floor to be mindful of guests on the 1st floor.

0ur stay was wonderful! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was unbelievable, from homemade croissants and jam for breakfasts, casual bourbon tasting and burgers along with exceptional fine dining options and an extensive wine list. The location was ideal for our planned activities including local hiking and a winery tour provided by the inn which included a delicious picnic lunch. Highly recommend.

5, excellent, really enjoyed our time. Everyone was super pleasant, the food was phenomenal, and the accommodations were very comfortable. Alain gave an informative and fun wine tour, visiting 3 wineries. All-in-all a very nice 4 day visit.

The rooms were what you expect in an upper end B&B. Breakfast was excellent, too bad we were there on an evening when the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. The State Arboretum of VA is world class (maybe 3 miles away). Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
