Great Fosters - Near Windsor

All staff very friendly. We have Christmas tree in our room that was lovely. Lady from reception very helpful . We definitely come back

Stunning setting full of history and grandeur. Good food and drinks.

Bed uncomfortable and needs replacing. Smelly bathroom/noisy old loo. Tiny TV. Some rooms are a schlep from the main building and involve going outside.

The food was good

Rooms were far too hot and could not adjust temperature. Lights on switches apart from one that you have to use a remote to turn it off. Annoying as wasn’t told. Decoration in room was old and tired and in desperate need of updating. Rug was threadbare. Laminate flooring chipped badly

When reading at the fireplace at 21.00 and asking personal to keep it burning with a new log.. the anwer was no: we let it go out!! Very unhospitable girl. Wedn 12 nov 2025.. also they say after handing you you some food: i say thank you.. they say ‘no problem’ no problem no problem.. sounds negative.. use my pleasure or you’re welcome

Beautiful location and the decor kept in keeping with property. Wonderful manicured gardens. The outdoor heated pool was a treat. Good food and service all round. Room was comfortable.

No detailed bill at the end of stay. King bed is on the small side more of a EU queen size.
