AUSuch a beautifully located and appointed property! We loved the high ceilings, ornate coffered ceiling and triple glazed windows. The location was just 5 mins walk from Como Lago station and the ferry terminal, with Como San Gimiano station also walkable with suitcases.,so close to numerous cafes, restaurants, bars etc.,
No negatives, it was perfect!
SEBetter then expected! A really smart central flat, two big bedrooms, nice beds, two bathrooms, balcony - everything you can ask for. The flat was very clean and well decorated. The area, albeit being very central and close to everything, was quiet during the night. The possibility to park your car free of charge was a real bonus. If I come back to Como, I will check this place out again!
GBBeautiful, spacious and well equipped apartment in easy walking distance of the old town and lakeside. Only a short stroll to the boat and funicular terminals but located on a nice, quiet street. Entry was simple (once we located the correct key safe) and the apartment was airy and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of four. Everything you need for a short stay is provided — linens, towels, coffee making facilities and fridge etc — plus there is also a washer and dryer (wish we'd found them earlier but oh well!).
I found one of the beds uncomfortably hard but thankfully the one in the other bedroom was much softer. External driveway is rough and pitted but the main courtyard and building are well maintained.

We missed some kitchen equipment (teapot, carafe). The washing machine smelled bad. Fans in bedrooms would be useful.
