Hill Cool Hotel & Restaurant

I have stayed at this place several times, and it’s one of the best along the Hatton–Nuwara Eliya highway. It has very convenient access from the main road, and the food is excellent. The staff is also very friendly.

We booked in to the large room 109. Loved the Hospitality and Friendly nature by all the staff especially from the owner (Nishathan) who lead from front then the manager Yaso. A special word to Kirube and Sabitha who went out of their way to make our stay joyful Food was excellent and portions are large Will definitely return

Not very much to say but on one day there was an event and the music was too loud to my liking as it could be heard to the room

I recently visited Hill Cool Hotel and Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the balcony view overlooking a beautiful tea estate, which added to the charm of the stay. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, staying open until 11 PM, making it convenient to enjoy a meal even late at night. The food quality was excellent, with delicious and well-prepared dishes. Overall, I highly recommend Hill Cool Hotel and Restaurant for anyone looking for great hospitality, a peaceful ambiance, and excellent dining options.

Great room that had everything you would need. We stayed whilst walking the Pekoe trail and it offered something very different and very welcome. The staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed a cold beer and a game of pool in the bar. The menu for dinner was extensive and the food and service excellent. They also offered us an excellent overnight laundry service. I think this is a great place for a night and different (in a good way) to the typical accommodation you will find on the Pekoe trail
