Hill Cool Hotel & Restaurant

The staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly, plus the Indian restaurant food was top rate. There was a well stocked bar for a cool beer, but spirits were unavailable. However, the manager Jey was happy to escort us to purchase a bottle of Bacardi for our personal consumption alongside a soft mixer. The beds were clean and comfortable and the hot water was plentiful providing a good shower experience.

The rooms were disappointing in size and general cleanliness, even though the bed was clean and bathroom okay. They just generally need an update in our opinion. We are not ones to complain and accept that we paid a low price, but we can only compare with other places we have stayed at with a similar rate. If the owners are looking to attract more Western clients, they really need to up their game on this as some would find it unacceptable. There are also a fair few trip hazards around which could cause potential fall injuries which really needs addressing.

the hosts are very hospitable, treated me like I was a king, haha. the food in the restaurant was out of this world! the room also was really great for the price you pay.

location is not very central, but beautiful views from the windows

The customer service of the staff; specially the manager Mano and Kiruba was in front line when serving customers with their needs. Also shouldn't forget their food it was tasty and halal foods as well.

Not enough towels, tea coffee making facilities, but those are negligible since this was a real value for money.

Amazing Indian dinner, soooooo tasty and fun. Authentic experience in this hotel with super helpful and smiling service.
