Japonica House was perfect for what we needed and wanted for our short break in Norfolk. It was easy to find, had its own parking space and was easy to access on arrival, It was very clean and a good size for me and my four children. It had great facilities and was in a good location for lots of lovely places to visit. Gary was a fantastic host, who made lots of effort to communicate all the necessary information prior to arrival and was available to answer any questions I might have. He responded to email messages very promptly. We liked the house very much and would definitely consider staying again.

We were very hot the first night and would have benefitted with sheets for the beds, as it was too hot for a duvet. We ended up taking the duvets out of their covers and using them as sheets, which worked well. The beds themselves were very comfortable. The only other issue was that there was only one bin in the whole house, which was the kitchen bin. There were no bins in either bathroom or the bedrooms, which was quite inconvenient, but will be very easily rectified. Also... a stair gate at the top of the stairs (which are quite steep) would be a great addition for peace of mind for families with younger children.

Good location for access to the broads

It was certainly one of the best homes we've stayed in. Spacious, tastfully furnished, all the essentials were there, including a few coffee pods, tea, biscuits, milk & bread. Clear instructions in welcome pack. Gary was very good at communication too, nothing too much trouble. Great quiet location too.

Close to most places we wanted to visit. Great value for my 2 grown up sons and I.

super location with everything needed close to hand. fab host, home exceptionally clean,even better than hotel class.super decor,spacious rooms ,comfy beds with high class bedding! extra touches which are so nice like fresh flowers,little food hamper including milk/bread/butter/tea/coffee/biscuits etc. this is a very spacious and spotless home with 2 bathrooms ideal location,very highly recommend and would like to return in future. thankyou Gary

it was all perfect !

We had a lovely stay, great location to travel Norfolk and the broads. Bedding and pillows very comfortable and the blankets on the sofa were a lovely homely touch. Great size garden, having only a small court yard at home our daughter loved playing outside and the dog also enjoyed sunbathing in it!
