Chilled Pad 2 Blocks from the French Quarters

The location was okay. It’s not 2 blocks from the French quarter but it’s an okay place

The bed wasn’t soft, there’s no tv in the bedroom & no couch in the living area. Only a pool table and a very small tv high up on the wall. There are two bar stools you’ll have to sit on to watch the very small tv that is so high on the wall. The bathroom lights flicker on and off. Mostly off though. The front door isn’t secure and it doesn’t close all the way so I slid the pool table behind it at night for my sanity. Not much to look at either.

Great location. Walking distance from French Quarter, even shorter walk from the St. Claude strip frequented by locals. Two short blocks from a new supermarket. Plenty of street parking. Large inside, clean and neat, recently updated. Bed is comfy. Air conditioner works well. Shower has good water pressure. Pictures are accurate. Owner is courteous and responds quickly. Great place to stay for 1 person or a couple, but no more, since there is only one queen bed and no couch.

No couch, and only a couple fairly hard chairs. No spare bedding...I'd like to change the sheets after a few days. Kitchen lights didn't work (owner responded and said he'll address this right away). Only a couple dishes and two pans in the kitchen, which might not be enough if you plan to cook.

Nice place in NOLA style at walkable distance to French Quarter and from buses. Pool table is a must.

The place will be great with more furniture like glasses, more duvet for the bed, recycling trash and also a stronger door knob.

The place was outstanding. They had everything you need and it was very spacious. I really liked the charm and functionality. You could actually walk to the quarter but we LYFT'd for only $6. We will be staying there often.

There were a few people walking by but that just adds to the charm. No one bothered us and everyone was friendly in the neighborhood.
