Really cosy and clean! Great location. Bed was so comfy and huge! Would 100% return. Really great for the dogs as the house felt really luxurious and high spec yet practical.

Would have been nice to have a little welcome basket or some toiletries, would really make it exceptional.

Very central for Hawes and quiet. Bedrooms well presented

Hot tap in bathroom loose and nearly caused accident as water very hot.

Parking was tight and the one-way access road was frequently blocked - I had to reverse the wrong way up a narrow one-way lane to get to the cottage.

Lovely stay here for our babymoon/birthday treat, beautiful cottage, very cosy. Close to the main street, which was great for me, being heavily pregnant, so I didn't have to walk far. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this wee house... especially loved how cosy it was with the real log fire on, loved the traditional decor, the comfy beds, the fab location and the house had everything we needed for the perfect home away from home for a few days.

Nothing not to like, no issues. If I was being picky only thing I'd say is more Kindling & Logs for real fire could be left out for us to use, sitting in front of fire at night was our favourite part, there was only enough to get fire going & burn for say couple hours, so none left for the other nights of our stay. I felt more could have been provided, given price we paid for the house. Thats only reason I rated a 9 instead of a 10. The local shop selling Logs was shut by time we got home on 2nd night so couldn't use fire. We managed to buy a big bag of Logs & Kindling on last night which we left there, so hopefully these are left out for next person 😁 we'd love to revisit soon, so hopefully we'll get more logs next time when it's colder. Thanks.
