Chapel Cottage with Log Burner (Dog Friendly)

Such a beautifully renovated cosy cottage in the heart of Hawes. Luxurious and truly lovely. The beds were so comfy, it has everything you need. Fab heating system and water etc. I would highly recommend Chapel Cottage for a special stay as it is expensive but worth it. The parking is very handy too... it is small but I drive a big car and was fine. A wonderful birthday week away and so close to some wonderful attractions too. We absolutely loved it 😊🏡🖼

The cottage wasn't cleaned and ready when we arrived but this was soon rectified within a couple of hours. The fox had been removed thank you! I would have loved a bath at the end of a rainy cold day but the shower and bathroom is great. A coat hook would be great behind the door. More logs initially provided would be great but Spar, Elijah & Son all sell them a few mins walk away but close at 6pm so be aware to buy some asap. Thank you 😊

The closeness to the town, everything you needed was available in the kitchen. Very clean and decor to a high spec.

Steepness of stairs into the top bedroom. The couch very low to get out of. It also tipped forward.

Very clean, cozy, new updated decor, high standards, great location. Very comfortable. Would definitely return.

No privacy blind at front door which was at street level. No fireplace use instructions and we could not find a fire blanket or extinguisher. Could use a dish rack and a few other kitchen items. Need to update their local information. Taxi services was very difficult to find. If travelling without a car, you need to really plan your access to local bus and train services. Did not like the stuffed fox at the entrance window.
