The Old School Caeathro, Snowdon, Eryri and Yr Wydffa Cottages

Lovely little cottage perfect stay for visiting places in Wales. Would defo recommend and visit again. We stayed in the two bedroom cottage which is perfect if you have a dog going with you as there are patio doors right onto a little enclosed area for your pooch. Next door had taken our parking spot but this was quickly rectified, easy to contact the housekeeper. Also we found the property to be really clean.

The only thing is that it is right on a 60mph A road which you can't see far enough of without having to pull out quite fast so don't think it's ideal for a none confident driver. If you have kids I think it's worth taking some socks with grippers as the stairs are beautiful wood and all the floors so can be a little slippy especially for the younger ones. Would also recommend maybe taking a cheap shower mat as there wasn't one in the property

Great location, great accommodation- just close enough to what you need and just far away enough for a fabulous break from it all.

It was home from home.

The property was good value for money in a location perfect for Snowdon and other activities we had planned. The property was basic in a nice way, spacious and well equipped.

The bedroom with bunk beds was next to the front door so we had to make sure that was locked with key removed. A further bedroom has a skylight with no blind so bright in the morning when you might not be quite ready to get up. The answer of course is keep your eyes closed!!

Very close to Snowdon, so a perfect spot to stay if hiking in the area. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable as well.

Only one bathroom/toilet in a 3 bedroom property that can take 6 people. Luckily we were only 4 people. On the booking it says 2 bathrooms, but it is in only 1 of the 4 properties on site.

Brilliant location for a weekend getaway with friends to Snowdon. 20 minute drive from the base of Snowdon. Great facilities. Very spacious, yet cosy living room and kitchen/dining area.

No complaints, would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay. The property had everything we needed. Great communication with the hosts. A lovely cosy home!

I hadn’t realised the property was so close to a main road that is fairly busy. It didn’t compromise the stay though - we all slept well.
