The Old School Caeathro, Snowdon, Eryri and Yr Wydffa Cottages

Good location, not far from Caernarfon and from the national park. We found it great to use as a base for trips into Anglesey, and around Eryri. It is a truly beautiful part of the world. Should you wish to climb Snowdon, it is very conveniently located (as long as you drive). Lots to do in the area, especially if you love history (great castles nearby!) Well-equipped - everything you will need to cook full meals and well-decorated, making it feel like a home from home. Sofas and beds were comfortable and bedlinen clearly freshly laundered and smelt fresh. Handwash, washing up liquid etc were all included. Although the weather did not allow us to appreciate it fully, the small private garden area was a nice feature. Host was responsive with queries prior to our arrival.

Basically on a main road so could hear alot of traffic from bedrooms!

Was very clean, spacious and perfect for semi self catering.

Only v. Small things, had to check with the owner like wifi password and how to get extra hot water. Owner was super fast to respond so it was absolutely not a problem.

Location 10mins easy drive to Llanberis, great kitchen and nice sunny garden. Clean and had everything I needed. Thought it was good to have both separate fridge and a freezer and a washing machine so would be ok for longer stays.

Had to use the booster button to get hot water and would be better to just have hot water when required. Personally I didn't find the sofas very comfy, would be better if at least one was bigger and comfier. These are small points on what is overall a good accommodation.

The house was clean with all the basic amenities and was full of home feeling.

Everything was perfect, just the issue with the internet although it worked 2 days but third day it was not working. Rest all was perfect and the staff was also very very cooperative, quick to respond and friendly .
