Lovely Charmouth cottage with log fire & garden close to beach

Almost everything

We found the kitchen quite cold despite having heating on.. Even though I was used to using the type of blinds in use the cord came apart every time i adjusted the blind in the main bedroom. A minor thing but irritating.

Homely and comfortable, everything was central to where we wanted to be

Parking was tricky as when we arrived back, most spaces were taken around the area. But it didn't put us off

the cottage was home from home very comfy, great location, I would of liked to known more about the cottage as it is over 250 years old lots of personal touches and dog friendly, Our Host was always at hand, answered questions if we needed it and was very informative on what the cottage had to offer.

There was nothing to dislkike, we had a great time, Esther our host left us a lovely welcome package on arrival that was really kind of her, the house was dog friendly which was great as we brought our little yorkie and he loved everything about it.

Was obviously a well loved home with lots of lovely pictures and photos which wasn't a negative Some of crockery chipped Lots of cups, bowels on the shelf but unsure whether for use or display ? Only enough logs for 1 night of a 2 night stay so had to bring more.

Nice and spacious and well equipped. Felt very "homely". Convenient location. Welcome hamper was much appreciated.

Upstairs shower could have been a bit hotter.

Lovely property, very comfy beds, garden was lovely.

No private parking but was able to park in the road opposite ok

Very well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Very clean lovely bathrooms. Nice enclosed garden. House is someone’s home.

We were 3 individuals so third bedroom not as inviting for an adult …..but we did know that on booking!

Beautiful place, such a homely house, excellent facilities and fantastic location in Charmouth! Will definitely be back!!

The entrance along the side of the house was a bit dark and miserable on first impressions but once you step inside all is forgiven!!

The cottage was a home from home. It was very comfortable and clean. Our dog loved the house and garden too. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach.

The only thing to mention, the parking is on street in parking bays. We did manage to get a space near the cottage most days.
