The WaterHouse Avenue by Kandara 5 Star City Home in Maidstone

We really enjoyed our stay as a family. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a short weekend stay. The location was excellent and very convenient, with a beautiful park nearby for walks. The building itself was tidy, with well-kept stairways and elevators.

It would be even more convenient in the kitchen to have a few extra plates and sharper knives. This is not really a minus and did not affect our stay in any way – just a small observation.

Drew curtains in main en-suite and fell down due to broken clip but managed to fix it

Perfect location for attending a wedding. All the facilities were useful eg iron/ironing board for our wedding clothes, shower/ bathrooms were well stocked.

Only one dedicated parking space meant we spent time moving cars around as we had 2.

Nice modern interior & nice location to the river.

We had no hot water in any of the taps & showers for the whole duration. We contacted the owner on the evening of the 1st night to try & resolve and also on the morning of the day we left (by Booking.com & phone) and they only contacted us over an hour after leaving the property the following day. Having no hot water for showers etc is not acceptable and we would like to make a complaint / see what refund options there are. The curtain rail is also broken (the curtain falls out) and I have placed the screws back in the seat in the master bedroom as they fell out / were in the drawer.

We had an issue when we got to the apartment but it was sorted straight away by the owner. It’s a great apartment to stay in as a family, it has all the necessities.

Netjes en luxe ingericht

Er in geen kledingkast en, dus je kan je kleding niet ophangen. Zelf afval wegbrengen voor 5 sterren vind ik niet netjes om te vragen.

Very clean good location, parking provided. Clean & very modern

We were told there was 3 double beds but in fact there was 2 double beds & a fold up single bed so was a little misleading. Could not enter at check in time at 3pm as they were still cleaning the property. In fairness, the owner called to extend our check out time by 1 hour to make up for issue getting into property. Overall good stay but communication with entering the property was poor & had to get into building & knock on the door as keys were not in the key safe at the check in time

The location was good, close enough to family we were visiting. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious and the outdoor seating was a nice bonus.

The lack of coat hangers in the wardrobe was disappointing. Also a tea towel in the kitchen would have been welcome. There was confusion about which apartment number it was on arrival. I couldn't find a reference to it nor could anyone else. However the problem was quickly resolved with a phone call.
