Free , easy parking on the drive Friendly and helpful owner Spacious room , spotlessly clean

A bin in the main room would have been useful ,not just the bathroom. Also no TV available....both minor observations however

The location was excellent- right in the back of Valentine's Park, and a few minutes' walk from Gants Hill roundabout, with Underground and bus transportation and a wide variety of restaurants. In an area where the available hotels have horrible reviews, this was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area. Julia has provided everything you'll need in the room, including kettle with teabags and sugar, microwave, tiny fridge, plates, mugs and cutlery, clothes steamer, and dishwashing supplies. The bathroom was stocked with full-size toiletries and had a towel warmer and nice hot shower with a rainfall head.

The futon bed was a bit hard for my preference, but I got used to it. A foam mattress pad would make it more comfortable.

Everything was "pure dead brilliant" (host, (Julie) location, facilities in the room- infact Julie has gone out of her way to include so much extra ( office table with 2 executive chairs, many variety of teas and coffee, biscuits, sweets, drinks etc..) in the beautifully decorated room, private FREE car park (i was able to leave my campervan for 3 days), latest bathroom equipment, .. just too much to list here! Across the road, a beautiful park for walking, cycling. Tube station 5 mins away... definitely coming back, Julie! Thank you so much 💓 Honestly, there's nothing i can think of, which i didn't like! Everything was perfect and welll above my expectations. I have stayed in more than 500 different hotels, but Julie's place tops!
